While searching on the internet, I found this page and it brought me and my family some light about our background history. I believe my family´s origin belongs to Mtein. My grandfather, Elias Salomao (Liece Sulaiman?) was born there. His brothers were Chahid Obeid, Anis Obeid, Affif Obeid (woman). They immigrated from Lebanon (possibly from Al Mtein) to Brazil around 1920 (due to the Turkish invasion). Now, referring to our grandmother, her family name is Abu Nader or Abi Nader. They all came from the same town in Lebanon. We would love to find updated or more information about our family; especially if there is still some members alive in Lebanon!
